Founder-led expertise built over three decades

Afaq Hussain

Door Specs Consultant is a founder-led architectural hardware consultancy established by Afaq Hussain. His more than 30 years of industry experience spans project sales, hardware scheduling, specifications, estimation, tender support and technical coordination across Pakistan and the GCC.

The consultancy supports project teams with structured, independent and project-specific door hardware advice — pairing hands-on project-sales and commercial experience with deep technical expertise, from design intent through execution.

  1. Where it started

    1995 — 2001

    Showroom & Sales Management

    Haroon Company, Sharjah

    It began on a showroom floor in Sharjah — running showroom operations, quotations and inventory control, and learning one customer question at a time what door hardware actually has to do once it is installed. That is the technical foundation the consultancy still runs on.
